Position Overview
Safari Kid is seeking a remote enrollment specialist to be the point of contact for families inquiring about Safari Kid’s early childhood programs. The individual will handle inbound enrollment inquiries, follow up with families interested in enrolling their children, keep enrollment management system (CRM) up to date, and schedule tours based on directors availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from prospective families in a timely, warm, and professional manner.
- Collect and accurately record family information, including contact details and programs of interest.
- Manually input and maintain consumer data in Enrollment management (CRM) systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Follow up with families after initial engagement to schedule them for tours
- Schedule tours based on Director's availability and update the tour calendar accordingly
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data privacy guidelines
This role does not involve program sales or detailed explanations of the curriculum but will require answering some basic questions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent spoken English
- Good English writing skills
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Clear and calm communicator
- High level of accuracy and detail orientation
- Professional and empathetic phone manner
- Comfort with CRM systems and data entry
- Ability to follow scripts, workflows, and procedures consistently
- Able to follow up and manage tasks independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in call center, intake, or customer service roles
- Familiarity with CRM systems or database entry
- Experience supporting families or working in early childhood settings
- Bilingual language skills (Spanish/ Mandarin, a plus)
